The beautiful sunrise views were breathtaking every morning.
The road to the hotel is an absolute nightmare! It took us over two hours just to navigate the rough terrain from Puerto Jimenez. Additionally, the lack of insect protection in the bungalows was frustrating. We were constantly battling little critters invading our space, and it made for an uncomfortable stay. Renting kayaks for $40 each for just an hour felt excessive, especially when there were limited activities available nearby.

Nature's Wonder Awaits You
Every morning brought delightful surprises, like a chorus of howler monkeys and the spectacular sight of brightly colored toucans hopping nearby. The intimate setting felt like my own tropical sanctuary.
However, getting there was an adventure. The rough two-hour drive from Puerto Jimenez could be daunting, and the occasional uninvited insect visitor reminded me I was truly part of the jungle.

It was just a good match for shopping in Carate with great value-to-price ratio. I loved the open-air bathrooms, connecting me to nature while keeping my privacy. Avoid the two-hour drive if you're looking for a quick trip, as the road is rough.

The stunning views and rich wildlife truly enhanced the experience, with daily sights of monkeys and macaws. The meals, especially the delicious soup, showcased the chef's talent and hospitality from Greg and Keiko made it feel like home. However, navigating to the location was challenging due to the rough roads, and the bungalows lacked insect protection, which could be uncomfortable for some guests. Additionally, limited on-site activities might disappoint those seeking adventure.

Standard Bungalows offer a unique experience with open-air bathrooms, soaking in nature while still having privacy. Bungalows are elevated, granting captivating views, especially during sunset when the sky lights up with vibrant colors.
Accessing the property requires navigating a rough road in poor condition, easily taking over two hours from nearby towns. The bungalows, while charming, could benefit from insect protection nets in sleeping areas, as little critters can make their way inside. Kayak rentals, priced at $40 each for an hour, aren't included in the stay, which could be a letdown for those looking to engage in water sports.

The Standard Bungalow was super cozy and felt private, which was nice. The views were absolutely stunning. every evening was a treat with beautiful sunsets. I loved the open-air bathroom—showering surrounded by nature was a unique touch. But, I did have a few uninvited critters joining me, which could be a bit annoying. And the drive to get there was pretty rough, taking over two hours. Overall, a solid stay with lots of charm.

The panoramic views from my bungalow were breathtaking, especially during sunset when the sky painted itself in vibrant colors. I particularly enjoyed the open-air bathroom experience, which allowed me to immerse myself in nature while enjoying my privacy. However, accessing the property could be a challenge due to the rough road conditions, and some minor enhancements could improve the stay, like better insect protection in the bungalows.
